I began painting  in oils in fifth grade - when a local Santa Barbara, CA artist opened up her garage to teach kids after school. I completed art classes at Dos Pueblos Senior High in Goleta CA.  I attended UCLA and completed  a BA in Mathematics.  I established a career in aerospace, completed  an MS in Computer Science at USC, and completed the Executive Program in Management at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Fast forward 30 years and my creative side called me to explore art as computer-based expression. I studied at OTIS College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, obtaining  my Certificate in Graphic Design in 2015.

 

After thirty years of living in   Redondo Beach, CA - I moved to Oro Valley, AZ in October 2021.  I joined Southern Arizona Arts Guild in July 2022. I rekindled my love for oil painting and am inspired by the Sonoran desert.
